McRefugee Sleeping At Mcdonalds Japan
Safest Place To Sleep Out In Japan
If you go to McDonald’s, KFC, Moss Burger or other popular fast food restaurants late at night in Japan, you will find so many people asleep in their chairs, usually in the upper floors. It’s a great place to go for a break when you need to get out of the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter.
When I find myself away from my residential city of Osaka Japan, maybe in Tokyo for example, if I feel tired in the day after partying all night, I go to McDonald's. I just order a 100-yen burger and get some free water. You can even order a smile! It’s on the menu. Then I go upstairs and snooze away for a couple of hours.
Please note that in Japan it is common to ask someone to leave a restaurant if they’ve been there for a long time and if there are people waiting, even at fast food restaurants. If you don’t feel like sleeping at night and have no money to party, you can also go to Jonathan’s, Gusto or another 24-hour family restaurant with a “drink bar” where you can get free soft drink all night.
